Robo-Trip
This short was entirely shot and edited in one sitting over the span of about ten hours, including original music, over 1200 frames shot, editing, and backdrop illustration.
Business Mantis
What started as a 3 second walk cycle assignment spiraled into complete absurdity. Join Business Mantis, a hand-drawn paper puppet articulated with brads, as he journeys through various deliberately watermarked video clips in increasingly bizarre situations.
Elias: Lip-Sync Midterm
A short incorporating a handmade articulated armature puppet acting as a stand-in for my kid neighbor's improvised rant, shot at 24fps over a span of about 8 hours for a total 1500 frames, featuring extensive keying and video editing.
Bouncy Bois: The Eye Awakens
In a similar story to the genesis of Business Mantis, this was assignment to animate two balls of different weights bouncing, which then literally morphs into something much more ominous. Featuring original music by yours truly!
Permanent Midnight of the Fractured Mind
This was my final creative project for a film analysis class focusing on themes and genres. I took footage from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and edited it into a trailer for a cerebral horror film.
